LV0929'AS MONUMENT PEAK, IN APPROXIMATE POSITION OF STATION MOUNT PIERCE.
LV0929'TO REACH FROM REDWOOD HIGHWAY AT WILDWOOD, FOLLOW ROAD UP
LV0929'MONUMENT PEAK TO HIGHEST POINT AND CONTINUE UP OPEN RIDGE TO
LV0929'STATION SITE. MARKED BY BRONZE DISK IN BOULDER FLUSH WITH
LV0929'GROUND. REFERENCE MARKS, ESTABLISHED FOR STATION MOUNT PIERCE,
LV0929'ARE BRONZE DISKS IN CONCRETE, NOTE 11C. DISTANCES AND AZIMUTHS
LV0929'FROM STATION ARE NOT AVAILABLE. STATION MOUNT PIERCE WAS
LV0929'ESTABLISHED BY THE GENERAL LAND OFFICE AT THE INTERSECTION
LV0929'OF THE HUMBOLDT PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN AND BASE LINE AND WAS
LV0929'MARKED BY A CONCRETE MONUMENT AND 3 IRON RODS. IN 1919,
LV0929'THE ABOVE-MENTIONED REFERENCE MARKS WERE ESTABLISHED. ONE
LV0929'WAS 22.63 METERS (74.2 FEET) AND OTHER WAS 25.29 METERS
LV0929'(83.0 FEET) FROM STATION MOUNT PIERCE IN UNKNOWN AZIMUTHS.
LV0929'IN 1928 CONCRETE MONUMENT HAD BEEN DESTROYED AND ITS
LV0929'APPROXIMATE POSITION WAS REMARKED.
LV0929
LV0929 STATION RECOVERY (1941)
