The winner of the 2014 Magnetic Locator Raffle is: Cris De La Paz!

Cris is employed with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commision. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is a department of the

City and County of San Francisco that provides retail drinking water and wastewater services to San Francisco, wholesale water to three Bay Area counties,

and green hydroelectric and solar power to San Francisco's municipal departments.

Note that Cris has donated the Schonstedt back to MDSHS to be raffeled again, at a time to be determined. THANK YOU CRIS !.

We would also like to thank those individuals and/or companies that purchased raffle tickets this year. If you missed a chance to purchase tickets, next year consider purchising them through the mail. Proceeds from the raffle will be used in support of the goals of the Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society to:

“Collect, Preserve, and Display Artifacts of the Land Surveying Profession”

This year’s (2014) raffle was for one Schonstedt, model# GA-52Cx Locator valued by the manufacturer at $917.00.

The Winner was determined by a random drawing held at the conclusion of the exhibitors’ displays at the CLSA/NALS Conference. M.D.S.H.S. would like to thank CLSA/NALS for the donation of our exhibit space and for allowing us to hold our raffle as a part of their event.
